Azita Ghanizada

Azita was born in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. Azita is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. She is an Afghan American actress who was born in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing the country she was born in, her family moved to the US. They were given asylum and allowed to stay. Her family raised her with sisters who resided and two sisters in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada made her debut on TV by playing in numerous National Commercials. For the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada played the lead role in Chiara the performance of which she was awarded an award for best actress at a film festival nomination. She was also an actress in numerous television series, including How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych & Castle. In recent times, she was in a variety of independent comedies You Only Better and Blood Shot 2009. She also appeared in the science-fiction action film Blood Shot. Ghanizada first appeared in General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. Season 2 of Nightshift saw Ghanizada as the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra, a physician who is a specialist in holistic medicine. Ghanizada played Kelly, the Prada character in HBO's Entourage.
